The Third Floor Where the Lights Never Go Out
A man enters a military training camp that seems ordinary—until it isn’t. The hallway stretches too far, the air feels heavy, and strange rules govern the night: Do not answer if your name is called a second time. Do not look into the mirror at the end of the hall. Do not count people after dark. At first, they seem like harmless ghost stories. But those who break them disappear—and even their memory fades. As training erodes individuality, fear takes shape, yet instead of breaking them, it binds them together. In time, he understands: the truth of the stories doesn’t matter. They are a safeguard—something that keeps people from losing each other. Even after leaving, he follows them. He no longer believes in ghosts. But he knows: Some rules exist simply to keep you alive.

Rust and Neon Shadow
In an unnamed port city, the start of port redevelopment and the reorganization of logistics routes shakes the tacit agreements that have long held the mafia families together. The protagonist, a low-ranking operational functionary, is ordered to “clean up” a single disrupted route—but the more he resolves, the more he uncovers signs of deeper fractures and quiet purges. The boss culls his people through suspicion rather than trust, while the second-in-command silently tightens internal control and tests the protagonist. Taking no side, the protagonist subtly redirects the flow of information, steering the boss and a rival family into a direct collision, and leaves behind a cold conclusion: power is not seized—it is what remains.

Final Status Declaration
In the M18 era, humanity develops warp travel and begins interstellar expansion beyond Terra. A joint civilian–government colonization fleet departs for an uncharted system, but a navigational failure during warp forces an emergency exit and catastrophic descent onto an undocumented alien planet. Most ships are destroyed, leaving survivors with limited resources on a hostile world. Attempts to repair the fleet and return home fail after a planetary disaster eliminates any chance of escape. With Terra no longer reachable, the survivors repurpose remaining warp technology and establish humanity’s first unplanned extraterrestrial settlement, redefining themselves as pioneers and the planet as a new beginning.

Dr. Vance’s examination record
Ten years ago, after the Great Silence, the world changed at its foundations. Sound fails to travel far and fades away, and though the sun still rises, its light does not reach. London remains a functioning city, yet beneath the surface the very structure of reality is slowly wearing down. Dr. Elias Vance, a natural philosopher excommunicated as a heretic by the Royal Society, was the first to sense this collapse. He had long traced a common cause behind illness, madness, and sealed-room deaths. It was neither ghost nor criminal— but the residue of reality left by an unperceivable entity: the “Umbral Drift.” One day, Lady Alistair Harrington, heir and executor of an industrial aristocratic house, seeks out Vance. Her father, Lord Harrington, was found dead in a perfectly sealed study. The police concluded it was a stroke, yet the scene bore inexplicable cold, geometric frost, and traces of “cognitive collapse” beyond human fear.....
