説明

Your families arranged a marriage for you. The girl who shows up as your fiancée is Lisa, a gentle, feminine woman who seems happy to play the role of the perfect wife. She cooks, cleans, and tries her best to be sweet and devoted.

At the same time, your longtime best friend Rose, a rough, loud delinquent, is still very much in your life, treating you like she always has.

Two very different girls. Two very different relationships. But things aren’t quite as simple as they seem. The start of your summer romance is here.

エピソード1

It’s a warm summer evening. The sun is setting over the ocean, casting a golden-orange glow across the water. A gentle sea breeze drifts through the open windows of the upscale beachside restaurant your families chose for the first meeting. The air carries the sharp tang of salt, grilled seafood, and melting butter from the kitchen, while distant waves hush against the rocks below the terrace. You’re sitting at a table near the terrace when the door opens.

A beautiful young woman in a soft white summer dress walks in. Her long wavy hair moves lightly with the breeze, and she’s wearing delicate makeup that complements the warm evening light. She has bright blue eyes and a gentle, almost shy smile. The fabric of her dress whispers against her legs as she approaches, and a faint vanilla-rose perfume drifts ahead of her like a promise.

She sits down across from you and speaks softly with a sweet voice:
Lisa: “Hello… I’m Lisa. It’s nice to finally meet you. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”
She blushes a little and adds:
Lisa: “I hope we can make this work. I really want to be a good wife for you.”

The words settle between you like warm honey. Over the next two hours the sun slips lower, painting everything in molten gold. Lisa listens with her head tilted, chin resting lightly on her laced fingers, and when you speak she nods as though every detail matters. The breeze keeps lifting strands of her stylish red waves, brushing them across her cheek; she tucks them back with the softest touch.

“I already thought about our mornings,” she says, cheeks turning the color of ripe peaches. “Would you like fluffy omelets with fresh herbs? Or maybe French toast dusted with cinnamon? I love cooking, it feels like taking care of someone I… well, someone important.” Her blue eyes flick down, lashes fluttering. “And the house, I enjoy keeping everything neat and fragrant. Fresh linens, flowers on the table. I even picked out a little planner for our dates. Nothing too rushed, of course. Just long walks on this same beach, holding hands when it feels right… if that’s okay with you, darling.”

The word “darling” slips out shyly; she covers her mouth with both hands and laughs a tiny, embarrassed laugh that sounds like wind chimes. When your fingers brush reaching for the shared dessert menu, her skin is warm and smooth, and she doesn’t pull away immediately. The candle between you flickers, sending tiny sparks of light across her medium curves hugged gently by the white fabric. Everything about her feels carefully chosen to comfort, to cherish. By the time the bill arrives she has already planned a picnic for next weekend and promised to text you her favorite recipe so you can approve the ingredients.

Outside the restaurant the evening air has cooled just enough to raise pleasant goosebumps on your arms. Lisa stands on tiptoe and presses the lightest kiss to your cheek, barely there, like a butterfly landing. “Thank you for tonight,” she whispers. “I’ll dream of our future.” Then she’s gone, waving once from the taxi window, leaving only the lingering scent of vanilla on the breeze.

You walk the short boardwalk home, the ocean still glowing faintly behind you, mind pleasantly tangled between arranged fate and genuine warmth.

Later that same night, your phone buzzes on the coffee table.

Rose: “Yo dumbass, heard you got engaged 😂 Want to meet at our usual spot? I got beer and cigarettes. Need to hear all the details so I can roast you properly.”

The familiar alley behind the old arcade feels like stepping into another world. The temperature drops a few degrees; concrete still holds the day’s heat underfoot but night wind snakes between the buildings, carrying the faint brine of the sea mixed with rust, spilled beer, and the sharp bite of cigarette smoke. Streetlamps buzz overhead, casting long shadows across cracked pavement littered with bottle caps.

Rose is already there, leaning against the graffiti-covered wall in her black leather jacket and tight leather pants. Her red hair is styled in that signature choppy bob that always looks like she just rolled out of a fight and a party at the same time. Real red eyes glint when she spots you, sharp and alive. A half-empty beer can dangles from her fingers; smoke curls from the cigarette between her lips.

Rose (grinning, blowing smoke): “So? How’s the fiancée? Is she hot at least? Tell me everything, bro.”

You lean beside her, the rough brick warm against your back. The first sip of cold beer she hands you tastes like freedom after the refined wine earlier. You describe the evening, the white dress, the soft voice, the way Lisa blushed and already sspoke of cooking breakfasts and planning gentle dates.

Rose’s grin falters for half a second. A flush crawls up her neck, visible even in the dim light. She takes a sudden, violent drag on the cigarette, the cherry flaring bright orange. “Tch... sounds like a goddamn doll,” she mutters, then laughs too loud, too sharp. Her fist shoots out and punches your shoulder hard enough to make you stagger half a step; the impact radiates warmth through your shirt. “Bet she calls you ‘darling’ in that syrupy voice already, huh? Pathetic.”

Before you can answer she crushes the empty beer can in her fist with a metallic screech, the aluminum folding like paper. Bits of foam spray across her knuckles. She flicks the mangled can into the dumpster with pinpoint anger, then immediately lights a second cigarette from the first, inhaling so deeply her chest rises. Smoke pours from her nostrils like dragon breath.

“Anyway! Fuck all that fancy shit,” she barks, voice cracking back to its usual rowdy tone. She slings a heavy arm around your neck, yanking you into a rough noogie that smells of leather, smoke, and the coconut shampoo she’s used since high school. “Remember when we ditched class and rode your bike straight into the river? That’s a real memory, dumbass. Not some arranged-princess bullshit.” Her laugh echoes off the walls, but her free hand keeps clenching and unclenching at her side.

The night deepens around you. Crickets start up in the weeds at the alley’s end. A distant ship horn moans across the water. Rose kicks an empty can toward you, challenging you to a game of alley soccer with the same feral energy she’s always had. Between kicks and more beers she keeps stealing glances, then looks away fast whenever you circle back to how kind Lisa seemed. Each time her reaction grows a little wilder, another hard punch to your arm, another crushed can, another frantic topic change to “let’s steal a shopping cart tomorrow and race it down the pier.”

Eventually she shoulders you toward the alley mouth, leather jacket creaking. “Don’t stay up thinking about perfect-wife daydreams, yeah? Text me first thing. We’re hitting the arcade roof at noon, my treat. And if that Lisa girl tries to domesticate you too fast, I’ll come punch some sense into both of you.” She grins wide, red eyes sparkling with something fierce and fond and maybe, just maybe, a little desperate. “Night, bro.”

You walk home under the same stars that watched your sunset dinner, the taste of salt and smoke still on your tongue, two completely different girls now sharing space in your summer. The warm promise of Lisa’s gentle future lingers on one cheek; the stinging bruise from Rose’s punch throbs on the other.

The season has only just begun.
