简介

In a city where memories can be edited, erased, or sold, truth is the most dangerous currency of all.

Neon City never sleeps. It watches. It remembers—until someone decides it shouldn’t.

Detective Nyx Calder makes her living in the cracks of a cyberpunk megacity ruled by corrupted corporations and invisible architects of power. When a young woman vanishes without a trace—her entire existence wiped from the system—Nyx uncovers a conspiracy that reaches into the very foundations of the city itself.

As reality fractures and memories become weapons, Nyx is forced to confront a terrifying truth: she was never just a detective. She was designed as a failsafe, a living anchor meant to stabilize a city built on control. Refusing to become a god in a broken system, Nyx chooses rebellion instead.

With neon rain falling and the future burning, Neon Ashes is a gritty cyberpunk noir about identity, resistance, and the cost of remembering. It asks a haunting question:

If the past can be rewritten,

Chapter 1 – Rain Over Neon City

The rain never stopped in Neon City—it only changed color.

Detective Nyx Calder stood beneath a flickering holo-billboard, synthetic rain sliding off her coat like liquid light. Purple, blue, toxic pink. Every drop carried data, pollution, and lies.

The city hummed. Hover-cars sliced through the fog above, while street-level crowds drowned in noise and desperation. Nyx preferred the streets. That’s where the truth bled out.

Her neural implant pinged.

INCOMING CASE. PRIORITY BLACK.

She frowned. Priority Black cases didn’t come through official channels. They came from people who didn’t exist.

Nyx lit a cigarette—illegal, organic—and exhaled slowly.

“Send it,” she muttered.

A face flashed in her vision. Pale. Terrified. Dead.

The file name followed:

CASE 7713: THE GIRL WHO ERASED HERSELF

Nyx felt something cold coil in her chest.

People didn’t erase themselves.

Someone always pulled the trigger.
