Chương1

The morning unfolded beautifully, with the soft, golden sunlight gently filtering into the home. Saanvi stirred from a peaceful sleep as her alarm buzzed at 5:30 AM. After a moment, she rose and quietly began her morning routine, moving efficiently through each task.

Once her routine was completed, she turned her attention to getting dressed. She chose a white anarkali, its fabric soft against her skin. she adorned herself with beautiful silver jhumkas, a delicate nose pin, and a pair of tinkling anklets – a true reflection of her fondness for both nose pins and anklets. A final touch of lip balm and a application of kajal completed her simple yet elegant look. By 6:00 AM, she was descending the stairs, her movements so light that she made not even a single sound.

She moved through the house with a quiet purpose, the soft sounds of her activity subtly filling the air. She began by cutting vegetables for breakfast, her hands moving with practiced ease, and soon the gentle smell of cooking filled the kitchen.

With breakfast prepared, she then moved to the Pooja hall. There, amidst the soft glow of a lamp, she performed her morning worship with quiet devotion, her gentle chants creating a serene and harmonious start to the day.

However, a shadow loomed over her peaceful morning. At precisely 7:30 AM, the familiar sound of her Maasi descending the stairs reached Saanvi's ears.

As soon as she heard her Maasi's footsteps approach, a cold shiver ran down Saanvi's spine, a clear hunch of the difficult interactions to come.

Her Maasi settled onto the living room sofa, immediately switching on the news channel, the volume just a little too loud.

She quickly started making coffee for her Maasi, the clinking of the cups a little louder than usual in the quiet kitchen. Then, Saanvi fearfully approached, her hands trembling slightly as she offered a steaming cup of coffee to her Maasi. Prayed to God that she wouldn't make any mistake, even the smallest spill or clatter, fearing her Maasi's reaction.

Her Maasi took the cup, her eyes momentarily fixing on Saanvi's anxious face, but she said nothing, her silence more unpleasant than any words. The air in the living room grew heavy with unspoken tension.

Saanvi, feeling a wave of relief, silently thanked God in her mind and turned to leave. But at that very moment, she heard her Maasi sharply yell her name, the sound cutting through the quiet tension.

Before Saanvi could even fully turn around, Nisha, her Maasi, suddenly appeared in front of her. With a cruel sneer, she violently threw the hot coffee directly onto Saanvi, yelling, "Where is the sugar in it, you fool!" Saanvi gasped as the hot liquid burned her hands and neck. Her eyes immediately brimmed with tears of pain and humiliation, but she couldn't utter a single word in protest or defense. She knew all too well the severe consequences of speaking back to her Maasi.

Through her tears, Saanvi could only manage to stammer a soft "Sorry" to her Maasi. But Nisha, her face contorted in rage, simply slapped Saanvi hard across the cheek. "You don't know anything except crying and saying sorry!" Nisha spat, her voice laced with venom. "It would have been better if you had died with your parents and brother!" The cruel words, sharper than any physical blow, pierced Saanvi's already aching heart.

Saanvi looked at her Maasi, her gaze filled with silent pain and helplessness, but she still couldn't utter a single word in response. Unable to bear another moment, she turned and ran from the living room, into the kitchen. There, she finally let her tears fall, sobbing uncontrollably. Her heart ached as she cried out, silently asking her parents why they hadn't taken her with them when they left this cruel world.

Indeed, this horrific scene was merely a part of her daily routine. Taunts and beatings from her Maasi had been her constant companion since the tender age of eleven. That was the year her parents and her beloved older brother were tragically taken from her, leaving her utterly alone in the world.

Before this tragedy struck, Saanvi had been a completely different person—a truly happy child, full of life, brimming with joy and boundless energy. She was her father's and brother's cherished princess, adored and protected.

Her father, Naman Agarwal, was a highly respected and successful businessman. He was the chairman of Agarwal Industries, a prominent company with numerous branches established in various cities. However, their family resided in Jaipur, where the main and most significant branch of their industrial empire was proudly situated.

Her mother,Naina Agarwal, was a housewife and a doting mother to their children. And finally, there was Saanvi's most favorite person her brother, Abhay Agarwal, who was six years older than her.

Saanvi was truly Abhay's princess; he would never let anyone even scold her a single word. She was undeniably spoiled, perhaps a little too much, by both her doting brother and loving father. Indeed, she would always get whatever her heart desired, her wishes often fulfilled even before she could fully voice them.

But fate, it seemed, had different plans for her. Her parents and brother were taken from her in a devastating accident, an incident from which she is the sole survivor, with numerous physical injuries.

Haunted by the past, she would constantly blame herself for her family's death. A persistent thought in her mind if only she hadn't asked her parents to take her to the movie that day, then the horrific accident wouldn't have happened.

After the loss of her parents, her Maasi, who was her mother's younger sister, took Saanvi in. She brought the saanvi with her to her home, which was situated in Rajasthan, far away from the life Saanvi once knew.

After some time, Saanvi got up and cleaned her face, her eyes still red from crying. She then arranged breakfast on the table for her Maasi and immediately began cooking lunch. Although they had maids, her Maasi, in her desire to torture Saanvi, deliberately forced her to do all the household chores herself.

Saanvi completed the cooking quickly, as she had classes to attend and needed to leave early. She was currently studying a Fashion and Jewellery Designing course at Rathore College. She was an introverted person and, largely due to being homeschooled throughout her childhood, had only one friend at college.

Her aunt made sure that Saanvi didn't talk to anybody outside the house, isolating her. If the decision were entirely in her Maasi's hands, she wouldn't even allow Saanvi to study. However, her parents' company and all their property were managed under the supervision of a lawyer, who visited Saanvi twice a year to ensure her well-being. This oversight was the only reason Saanvi retained some freedom.

Actually, she was set to inherit all her property by the age of eighteen. However, there was a specific clause stating that she must also be capable to manage the company effectively.

So that's the reason her aunt is letting her study.so now saanvi should complete her study and work for one year in other company and prove her ability to inherit her father's company that is Agarwal industries.

So at present she completed cooking and took her books and got out of home. She started walking to

Busstand because her aunt only gives her some money for her to travel in bus and sometimes she doesn't give that too.

She waited in busstand for 10 mins and the bus arrived she got in the bus and sat down. Then after the bus arrived near her college bus stop, she got down and walked into college and entered her block, went to her class but some heads turned towards her and saw her like she is some alien.

Because she doesn't talk with anyone and and dresses poorly nobody attempts to befriend her. However, the truth is quite different; she is actually wealthier than 90% of the people around her. The ironic part is that she herself is unaware of her wealth, as her aunt has deliberately kept her naive. Even when the lawyer visits for check-ups, he only inquires about her well-being, so there's no opportunity for her to discover the truth about her inheritance.

Despite her isolation from others, she does have one friend named Ayushi, and Ayushi is the only person with whom Saanvi communicates in college, thanks to ayushi's extrovert nature.

After that, she entered the lecture hall and spotted her only friend waving at her from a seat in the back. Saanvi made her way over to Ayushi, settled down beside her, and attentively attended all her classes.

Once all the lectures were finished for the day, she said goodbye to her friend and then left the college, taking the bus to go home.

Upon arriving home, her aunt immediately began to taunt her for being late. However, Saanvi didn't let these harsh words affect her deeply, as she had grown accustomed to such treatment.

Later, she went to her room to freshen up. Afterward, she headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner. It was important that the meal be ready by 8:00 PM, otherwise, her aunt would not give Saanvi any food for the day.

Once her aunt had finished her dinner and departed, Saanvi quietly thanked God for sparing her from another beating. Her aunt frequently found some trivial reason to punish her.

After her aunt had left, Saanvi finally ate her own meal and then quietly retreated to her room. As soon as she settled into bed, she reached for a small photograph of her family from below the pillow.Tears welled up in her eyes as she gazed at their faces, a wave of guilt washing over her as she blamed herself for their passing.

Soon, exhaustion overtook her sorrow, and she drifted off to sleep, tightly clutching the precious photo close to her heart.
