Synopsis
Mazikeen -The Bounty Hunter is a 10 episode set in Los Angeles,three years after the events of Lucifer.The series follows Mazikeen Smith, former demon,former bartender's wing woman, current elite bounty hunter as she navigates a city where the line between the human criminal world and the supernatural underworld has never been thinner.At the core,this is a show about a creature who was born without a soul learning what it means to have one.

MAZIKEEN – THE BOUNTY HUNTER
Season 1 Episode 1
"The Missing Piece"
Three years after Lucifer left Earth, Los Angeles has moved on.
Maze hasn't.
She owns a successful bounty hunting company called Hellbound Recovery Solutions. Most days involve tracking criminals who skipped bail. Some days involve demons.
Tonight is one of the normal days.

A man named Carl Jensen runs through a dark alley in downtown Los Angeles.
Rain pours from the sky.
He keeps looking behind him.
Nobody.
He slows down.
Suddenly a knife flies past his face and sticks into a wall.
Carl freezes.
A voice echoes from above.
MAZE: You know, most people at least make it six blocks.
Carl looks up.
Maze sits casually on a fire escape.
MAZE: You only made four.
CARL: Stay away from me!
MAZE: You skipped bail. I can't really do that.
Carl pulls a handgun.
Maze rolls her eyes.
MAZE: Again with the guns.
Carl fires.
Before he can pull the trigger a second time, Maze is standing directly in front of him.
Carl's eyes widen.
CARL: How did you—
Maze punches him.
Carl collapses unconscious.
MAZE: And that's another satisfied customer.

The next morning, Maze arrives at Hellbound Recovery Solutions.
The warehouse headquarters is alive with activity.
Maya Reyes sits in front of eight computer monitors.
Jack Ryder drinks coffee while reviewing case files.
Victor Kane is repairing equipment at a nearby workbench.
Maze drags Carl's unconscious body through the front door.
JACK: Good morning.
MAZE: Depends who you ask.
MAYA: He's still alive?
MAZE: Mostly.
JACK: That's progress.
Maze smirks.
A few minutes later, their bail bondsman contact Felix Ortega arrives with payment.
FELIX: One day you're going to destroy my insurance policy.
MAZE: One day?
Felix sighs.

As everyone settles back into work, Victor notices a woman entering the warehouse.
She is elegant.
Confident.
Perfectly calm.
The room seems quieter when she walks in.
VICTOR: Maze. Visitor.
Maze turns.
The woman extends her hand.
LUCIA: Mazikeen Smith.
Maze immediately becomes suspicious.
Very few people know her full name.
MAZE: Who are you?
LUCIA: Lucia Blackwood.
Maze doesn't shake her hand.
MAZE: What do you want?
Lucia places a photograph on the table.
The picture shows an older man.
LUCIA: He's missing.
MAZE: Hire the police.
LUCIA: The police won't find him.
Maze studies the photo.
Something catches her attention.
Around the man's neck hangs an ancient silver pendant.
Maze recognizes it instantly.
Her expression changes.
JACK: What is it?
MAZE: Nothing.
Lucia notices the reaction.
LUCIA: You know what that pendant is.
MAZE: Maybe.
LUCIA: Then you're exactly who I need.
Maze looks at Lucia carefully.
For the first time, she senses something unusual.
Something not entirely human.
LUCIA: Will you take the case?
Maze glances again at the pendant.
Then at Lucia.
Then back at the photograph.
MAZE: Tell me everything.
Lucia smiles.
And far beneath Los Angeles, hidden inside the supernatural underground known as The Beneath, a mysterious figure watches an ancient artifact being loaded into a secure case.
Nobody sees his face.
Nobody knows his real name.
The supernatural world knows him only as:
The Collector.
COLLECTOR: The first piece is ours.
Beside him stands a silent masked enforcer known as Ghost.
COLLECTOR: Find the next artifact.
Ghost nods.
COLLECTOR: And if Mazikeen Smith becomes involved...
