The sky above her was a clear, endless blue—nothing like the gray cityscape she remembered before collapsing from exhaustion after another overnight shift.

She pushed herself up and froze.

Before her stretched a vast, abandoned field. Cracked earth, wilted crops, and broken wooden fences whispered of neglect and failure. A worn farmhouse stood crookedly in the distance.

Then a soft chime echoed in her mind.

“What… system?” she whispered.

A translucent panel appeared before her eyes. It explained everything: she had been chosen as the Spirit Farm’s caretaker. By restoring the land, raising crops, and forming bonds with nature spirits, she could earn Farm Points to level up the farm—and herself.

Seo-ah clenched her hands. In her old life, she had failed at everything. Here, even the land had failed.

But strangely, she felt calm.

“If this farm is ruined,” she said softly, “then I’ll rebuild it.”

The cracked soil beneath her feet trembled faintly, as if responding.
